We are pleased to announce that Mr Matt Topliss (British School Principal) has been elected as the new Country Representative for Egypt for the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) organization. This role will enable Mr Topliss to work closely with BSME schools in Egypt and across the Middle East whilst still undertaking his Principal role in the British School at El Alsson. The BSME organization provides networking and training support for teachers and a number of student events and activities across all areas of school life, including the arts, PE and Sport, literacy, numeracy and the sciences. The organization also advises schools on examination preparations, child protection, provision for SEN and gifted and talented, technology and the development of leadership in schools. The BSME network in Egypt has grown strongly in recent years and Mr Topliss aims to collaborate with other leading British international schools across Egypt to continue this partnership.
