Welcome to Alsson ElKheir

Thank you for your unwavering support and cooperation in our mission to make a difference in the lives of those in need. El Alsson has always been active when it comes to Charity and helping ones in need. At ElAlsson, hosting orphans has been a part of our journey since the very beginning. Over the past 21 years, we have worked tirelessly to support the most vulnerable individuals in our community, guided by a deep sense of compassion and a desire to create lasting change.

Our initial focus was on Manshaat Dahshur organization, which is responsible for caring for handicapped and special needs orphans. It was here that our journey began, with a group of dedicated British section students taking the initiative to build a bathroom for a destitute family living near our old campus. In addition, they reached out to a mentally disabled orphan in the same household, providing ongoing support that continues to this day. This marked the start of our efforts to forge meaningful connections between our students and the orphaned children who had lost one or both parents.

Our support extended beyond materialistic aid such as clothing, dry food, toys, and essential supplies like televisions, fans, washing machines, and refrigerators. We recognized the importance of emotional support and made it a priority to visit the orphanages regularly, engaging in activities such as teaching English, exploring art, playing music, and participating in various recreational pursuits alongside the orphans. As a result, we fostered a deep bond between our students, parents, and the orphaned children, creating a support system that went beyond material needs.

As our efforts grew, we expanded our reach to include other orphanages such as Ahbab el Rahman in Kerdasa, Nour el Eman in Kafer ElGabel Mansoria, ElSabekoon in Kafer Ghataty, Dar Al Sabeel in Maadi, and Manshiet Dahshur special needs Orphans. The impact of our collective endeavors can be seen in the transition of toddlers we initially supported, who have now grown into seventeen-year-old graduates that remain connected to our school and actively participate in our initiatives.

Fifteen years ago, Mrs. Sohair Elbanan introduced an innovative Arabic unit called “The Ongoing Charity” (Sadaka Garia). This curriculum instills in our students the values of self-reliance and compassion, encouraging them to contribute from their personal savings to our ongoing charity project known as “Bab Rizk.” Through this initiative, we empower our students to extend a helping hand to the most vulnerable families and orphans, creating job opportunities that provide not just financial assistance but also contribute to their overall well-being.

In addition to providing material support, we also invite orphans annually to join our children for Iftar, a tradition that began in our old campus. By teaching our students the importance of purchasing food and clothing at reasonable prices, we ensure fair distribution among orphanages and impoverished families. Not only that, but we also started a Ramadan Drive initiative to prepare boxes of essential Ramadan goods to help out our direct community as well. Making sure every member of our men in blue, matrons or helpers receive a box for their Ramadan needs.

As for the Special Cases and Families in needs, our selection process is meticulous, focusing on families facing unique challenges such as caring for a disabled child or struggling with extremely low incomes. In cases where parents are unable to provide due to physical limitations such as paralysis or the inability to work, we strive to offer them suitable employment through our “Bab Rizk” initiative, providing them with stable income and renewed hope. Mrs. Sohair Elbanany has been instrumental in guiding our children to purchase supplies from affordable sources, creating a trading project that serves as a simple yet effective means of increasing their income. Our students maintain regular contact with these individuals, ensuring ongoing support and assistance whenever required. This bond continues to strengthen and evolve with each passing day.

To ensure the continuity of our efforts, we have meticulously documented each case requiring assistance. These records contain detailed information and contacts, enabling anyone willing to contribute and support us to do so effectively. In addition, we are delighted to share with you a collection of photographs from past and recent events, capturing the profound impact of our collective endeavors.

Together, we are making a significant difference in the lives of those in need, and we express our heartfelt appreciation for your support and cooperation. As we move forward, we hope that this showcase inspires others to extend kindness and compassion to those around them.
