Middle School is a time of great change for adolescents. Our Middle School Program is designed to provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences to help students be able to think, create, and contribute, preparing them for success in the 21st century.

Our courses in Middle School meet leading US curriculum standards, and all courses support the literacy development of the Common Core State Standards. Courses are delivered in a safe and engaging learning environment which allows for the development of the unique interests, abilities and aspirations of our students.

Each year, Middle School students study a core curriculum including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, French, Drama, Music, Computer Science, Art, SEL, Physical Education and Arabic Studies. Additionally, students participate in an Enrichment Program which provides students with opportunity for team-building in addition to exploring unique topics such as entrepreneurship. Our Exploratory Program also supports students who need additional skill development in Language Arts and Mathematics.

Lessons are taught using a variety of teaching and learning strategies which are research-based and proven to be effective with Middle School aged learners. Great care is taken to ensure students develop the confidence, knowledge, and the personal, critical thinking skills, and independent learning skills to be successful in High School.

Students are assessed using a variety of methods including projects, presentations, writing tasks, performances, tests and quizzes. Students and parents are able to keep track of performance and course resources using the online portal, Plus Portals.
