El Alsson British and American International Schools are delighted to announce that the schools have been awarded Council of International Schools (CIS) membership status.

Between the 30th November and 2nd December 2021 the school undertook a three day membership evaluation process and has received the final report confirming membership status. The CIS global membership community includes more than 1,360 schools and universities in 122 countries. The CIS vision is to inspire the development of global citizens through high quality international education: connecting ideas, cultures, and educators from every corner of the world.

The school received commendations from the evaluators in several areas including the development of leadership and guiding statements for the schools, student and staff well-being, child protection and safeguarding, curriculum development, the development of relationships through high quality teaching and learning, the school campus and partnerships with our community and families. We are very proud of the report that we have received and will use this to continue to develop our school as we move towards the next phases of accreditation with CIS. We would like to thank and congratulate every member of our community for the part that they played in this evaluation.
