Profile:

I am a mother of two, my daughter is in grade 5 and my son is still in pre-school. Grew up in Egypt but lived in Canada for the last 13 years. Happy to be back in Egypt and for my kids to know what it is like to be an Egyptian. As a parent in Canada I was very involved with our PAC (Parent Advisory Council) as the Parent Coordinator ensuring there are volunteering parents assisting the staff in various events and activities.

I also work as a behavior consultant for children with special needs, specializing in the field of Autism.

What I think the PSA should do and what I can bring to the PSA:

My understanding is that a PSA member acts as a link between other parents and the school. Making sure the parents’ views are heard and that they are informed and also ensuring the school and the staff are supported.

I am committed and organized and have past experience in a similar role.
